On November 2, 2023, a tragedy struck the world of football with the untimely passing of Oussama Falouh at the age of 24. A former player for Angers, Avranches, and Strasbourg, Oussama had a promising future in football. Unfortunately, his life was abruptly cut short when he was involved in a tragic road accident, with his vehicle struck by a heavy truck.
Born on July 12, 1999, in Casablanca, Oussama Falouh was trained at the Mohamed VI Academy, where he developed his passion for the game. His professional career took him through several clubs: Strasbourg, FUS Rabat, Avranches, Angers, before joining Wydad Casablanca. He also proudly represented the Moroccan national under-23 team.
Oussama Falouh was not only a football talent but also a person appreciated for his kindness and generosity off the field. He had a particularly close bond with his fellow Moroccan, Azzedine Ounahi, with whom he shared moments in Avranches and Angers.
